Welcome to Rustic Sunflower Photography, where we offer a unique and personalized photography learning experience for kids. Our instructors are experienced and passionate about teaching children the art of photography.

We offer group classes every other Wednesday or 1-1 sessions, perfect for children ages 11 to 16 who are interested in exploring their artistic creativity and developing their photography skills. Our goal is to provide a practical and hands-on learning experience that will enable them to capture beautiful photographs and develop their passion for photography.

Being a mum of two amazing children myself and working a few hours a week at a school I realise all too much how important it is to let their creativity and minds flow.

Young people are growing up in such a fast-paced world so having opportunities to develop their focus to build their creative skills, confidence and character.

Let them put their creativity to the test with the fundamentals of photography, giving them exciting skill.

Children will learn how to use their own cameras or from a hire a camera from myself, this is a perfect opportunity if they are on the fence about doing photography but learning from their own means they can also practice outside of the class.

We also do a showcase at the end of every year, here your child's best photo will be showcased in a gallery where you have the chance to purchase the framed version. This is really a great experience and confidence booster for all the children.

I also hold special 3 day workshops in the six weeks holidays, keep your eye out for when these go live because spaces will go fast.

I am DBS checked and your child's safety and wellbeing is my top priority so any guest speakers will be DBS checked too.

I like to think I make a happy safe place in my studio, if children are happy enough to be their full selves then I know I'm doing what I'm doing right.
